What do you do when surrounded by Dark Storms?

What do you do when dark storms in the vast oceans are surrounding your life? I am not talking about minor or even major challenges. By storms I am referring to circumstances that are so bleak that the statistical human odds of solving by yourself or by the best of human collective effort is almost nil. You need a real breakthrough, and a real miracle.

The first thing you must do, is keep your focus on Jesus, and then see Him in His goodness.

Where is Jesus? He is asleep in the stern of your ship.

But what do you see when you see him sleeping there? What you see will determine if God sees you in faith, which leads to biblical hope springing up automatically, which is the Robin to the ultimate Batman (the effect that gives the breakthrough). (The next series of posts will expand and unpack these ideas.)

Is Jesus sleeping because He doesn’t care about you?

Or is He sleeping because He knows that as long as He is on your ship, God will never let the ship sink? That is love, authority and confidence rolled into one. And He is for you. That’s your Jesus. He’s got your destiny in His hand, not the ocean. Your time will come. See Him in His love for you, wait for God’s timing. It will come. He loves you.

It will come, He loves you. Stay tuned.

This I call to mind, and therefore have hope. Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:21-26)
